DESCRIPTION
Jena electric tram opened in 1901. The last extensions of the tram system opened in 1996 (Winzerla-Lobeda), 1997 (Pardiesbahnhof-Burgaupark), 2009 (Lobeda West-Goschwitz; Goschwitz-Burgaupark).
The current network consists in 5 ordinary lines (plus 3 night lines).
