DESCRIPTION
Liberec tram opened in 1887 and from that date it has been continuously in service. This tram network is currently constituded by 5 lines (2 of those run over standard gauge rails, 3 of those run over metric gauge rails). An important suburban extension of the tram network was completed in 1951 (Liberec-Jablonec route).
