DESCRIPTION
Kosice tram opened in 1891 (initial horse tram); steam tramcars operated during 1893-1914 before network electrification (1914).
The current tram network consists in 7 ordinary lines plus 8 special lines to/from Kosice steal industries located in Vstupny area (south-western side of the city).
