DESCRIPTION
The first Bremen tram line opened in 1876 (initial horse tram) and from that date tram has been continuosly in service. Tram was completely electrified in 1890.
Some important extensions were completed in 1967, 1968, 1973, 1976, 1998, 2001, 2002 2006, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The current network consists in 9 lines.
