DESCRIPTION Noorkoping electric tram opened in 1904; the tram network reached its maximum extension in 1959 (4 lines). In 1966 the tram system was reduced to 2 operating lines (which are currently in service). The last tram extensions were completed in 2006 (Albrektsvagen-Ljura), 2010 (Ljura-Trumpetaregatan) and 2011 (Trumpetaregatan-Kvarnberget).
