PARMA
Parma
Parma LRT network project is articulated in:
-Line A: it will connect Scambiatore Nord parking (motorway), the railway station (stazione F.S) and the University Campus, passing through the city center (running north-south); more than a half of the track will be underground;
-Line C: it will connect the airport and the exposition center to the railway station, using part of the existing Parma-Salsomaggiore railway tracks (which will be renewed and modernized in order to assure an efficient suburban service).
NOTE: project aborted in 2010 due to financial reasons (national funding revoked on March 2010).
