Paris
Meteor automated metro line (Line 14) started its service in Paris in 1998, with a totally underground track; Line 14 has a crucial role to enlight the charge on Line 1 and Line A in the central part of the network. The track starts from Olympiades (after the opening of Bibliotheque F. Mitterand-Olympiades extension in 2007) in the southern part of the town, runs parallel to Line 1 and Line A from Gare de Lyon to Chatelet-les Halles, then it reaches St. Lazare terminal, which could also be a future interchange point with Line 13. Among the possible future developments, a southern section from Olympiades to Maison Blanque and a northern extension far off Saint-Lazare terminal could be mentioned.
