MESSINA
Messina
In April 2003 Messina restored its tramway system with a new modern line, 52 years after the complete closure of the former network. The track (7.7 km, 18 stops) follows a north-south route from Annunziata to Gazzi, serving some of the main urban polarities (Policlinico, regional industrial district, southern bus terminal, cemetery, S. Martino, P.zza Cairoli).
Trams operate on the elder bus line n. 28.
