KOHLFURTH
Kohlfurth
Part of the old tramway Line n. 5 (Cronemberg-Kohlfurter Brucke) was re-opened in Kohlfurt (urban district of Wuppertal) in 1995; this metric gauge line was dismissed in 1970, same destiny of the rest of the original network (with standard gauge 1435 mm) closed in 1987.
The recovered section of Line 5 has metric gauge (like the original track) and runs in the internal area of Bergische Museumsbahnen (Wuppertal transports museum); the track is 1.2 km long from Kohlfurth to Greuel.
An hypothesis to recover other sections of the previous network was discussed, but at the moment no concrete decisions have been taken.
