A new tramway line is under construction in Jaen (Andalusia), connecting some of the main urban polarities; this line will be part of a deep rearrangement of the public tranport network. The track will be totally ground level in reserved lanes, serving both industrial areas (Poligono Industrial de Los Olivares) and both urban services (sanitary pole, university campus, museum); it will interchange with the railway network at RENFE station (Intercambiador Modal). Among the possible second phase extensions, it can be mentioned a new connection to Torredelcampo, Jamilena, Torredonjimeno, Martos, Mancha Real and las Infantas y Mengibar.
