Frankfurt
After the construction of a second airport terminal, a new link between Terminal 1 (Gate A, Gate B) and 2 (Gates D/E) was realized at Frankfurt Airport; this fully automated system adopts Bombardier CX-100 technology.
The 3.8 km track was opened in 1994 and expanded in 1996 in order to allow a future possible extension, which could involve Terminal 1 Gate C (interchange with railways) and the future Terminal 3.
