Bursa
A modern LRT system operates in Bursa (Turkey) since 2002; it's about 30 km long, articulated in 2 lines (Line 1: Organize Sanayi-Araba Yatagi; Line 2: Araba Yatagi-Ozluce) which mostly run ground level totally segregated from road traffic, with short underground sections. Sehrekustu-Araba Yatagi extension eastern extension opened on April 2008, followed by Kucuk Sanayi-Ozluce section on December 2010.
The line reached the university (Ozluce-Uludag Universitesi section) on September 2011, while a further northern extension (Organize Sanayi-Emek) opened on December 2011.
